Day 1 Walkthrough
Complete Day 1 walkthrough for Survive 7 Days In Arctic Roblox: spawn priorities, first shelter, fire setup, and night survival before Day 2.
Last updated: July 2026
Day 1 Overview
Day 1 sets the foundation for your entire Survive 7 Days In Arctic run. You spawn in the Arctic with minimal gear and must establish shelter, fire, and food before the first night. Every mistake on Day 1 compounds through the week—players who rush exploration without a base often restart multiple times before learning the rhythm.
This walkthrough assumes solo or small-group play on a public server. Adjust timings if your group splits roles, but never skip shelter and fire before sunset. Cross-reference the How to Play guide for system basics and the Controls guide for your platform.
Morning: First 15 Minutes
Immediately scan for three resources: wood nodes or trees, accessible water for fishing, and natural windbreaks like rock formations. Move toward an area that offers all three within a short walk. Pick up any loose materials you see—alpha builds may scatter starter resources near spawn.
Do not wander more than two minutes from your chosen camp site. Mark the spot mentally or with a temporary structure. Begin gathering wood first; most early recipes depend on it for shelter frames and fire fuel.
- Locate wood, water, and windbreak within one area.
- Gather 15–20 wood before exploring further.
- Place a basic shelter frame at your camp site.
- Start scouting fishing access points.
Midday: Shelter and Fire
By midday, your shelter should have walls on at least three sides and partial roof coverage. Enclosed space dramatically reduces cold drain compared to open ground. Place your fire pit centrally so warmth reaches the interior—see the Fire Placement page for layout tips.
Fish your first meal if tools are available. Raw food is better than nothing, but cooked food typically restores more hunger and may provide warmth bonuses. Stock at least two meals before dusk.
Night: First Arctic Night
Before nightfall, confirm fire fuel for at least one full night cycle. Alpha nights may increase cold intensity—having spare wood prevents panic refueling in darkness. Stay inside shelter except for brief fuel additions.
Day 1 nights are usually the most forgiving, but treat them as practice for harder conditions on Days 3–5. If you survive with food and fuel remaining, you are well positioned for the Day 2 Walkthrough.
Day 1 Success Criteria
You pass Day 1 if you wake on Day 2 with: a standing shelter, an active or relightable fire, at least one meal in reserve, and 10+ wood stored. Missing any of these means prioritizing that gap first thing on Day 2 rather than exploring new zones.
